It's very fortunate that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a covered treatment under the Mental Health benefit of many health insurance plans. Please check your individual health policy to see if it covers ABA and whether Engage ABA is considered an in-network provider.

While we do work many insurance plans, it is crucial that you keep up-to-date with your health plan, especially as there are annual changes.

 

IMPORTANT STEPS

There are some important steps to take to ensure you have coverage and to know how much it will cost.

  1. Make sure there is an Autism diagnosis within the last year from a diagnosing provider.

  2. Have a prescription for ABA from your primary care physician, psychologist, or psychiatrist.

  3. Call your health insurance plan. Ask:

    • Is ABA covered for Autism?

    • Is Engage ABA in Seattle in- or out-of-network with your plan?

    • What are your costs: per office visit, copay, annual deductible, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses?

    • Are there any restrictions for ABA in the plan?
